Bale recounts life as Batman

This weekend is one of the most significant weekends in actor Christian Bale’s life. As the world waits eagerly to catch the final movie of Nolan’s Batman trilogy, for Bale it’s the release of the final movie of the trilogy that changed his life and gave a new level to his career.

“I’m real proud of having achieved what we had set out to do. It was a very important moment for me. It was an important character” Bale said.

Christian Bale started his career in the late 1980s and has done tremendous work till date. Bale has done noteworthy work like The Machinist, American Psycho, The Fighter, The Prestige and many more that established him as one of the most talented actors in the industry. He even won the Academy award for his performance in the supporting role in The Fighter. But it was his performance as Batman that sealed his status as one of the most important leading actors in the past decade.

His performance as Batman coupled with Nolan’s rendering of the finale of the trilogy with a bunch of extraordinary actors like Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and many more is expected to set the screen on fire. The film has already received positive reaction from the critics. Its box office performance is not a thing to worry about. The first two movies made $372 million and $1 billion respectively. Dark Knight Rises will outperform all of those records.

Dark Knight Rises begins with Batman in hiding. He has been in hiding for eight years. But, when a terrorist comes to take over Gotham City, Batman has to rise to save the city. With Nolan’s direction we can expect a much complex story that will surprise us at every turn.

Both Nolan and Bale are exhausted from the Batman experience. While Bale is reflecting on his years as Batman, Nolan wants to take a vacation. He does not really know what his next movie could be. For now, he just wants to relax and enjoy a holiday. For all the drama and the precious moments he’s given us, he deserves every minute of it.
