Are You Scared?

Fear is an interesting trait that all of us exhibit sooner or later.  When people are scared, they experience a very unique feeling that compels them to shudder and cower away from the evil element.  What I mean is that there are a plethora of fearful things that haunt us during the day or during our dreams.  Fear and danger cause an adrenaline rush and enacts the fight or flight response.  There are those that run away when they are scared and then there are people that face danger head on and show courage to battle whatever demons exist within their soul.

The entertainment industry has always capitalized on making movies based upon fear, or more specifically death.  Movies such as Saw IV have been created to evoke a heavy amount of terror for the audience.  Watching scary movies has always been an age-old tradition for adults where they jump up out of their seats because they are absorbed in the film.  It is interesting to see that even though moviegoers know that the gory sights and sounds are not real, the movie nonetheless seeps into his or her imagination and strikes with a bang.

Madonna on a High with a Movie and Latest Music Album Lined Up For Release

Madonna is one the most successful artists in America and indeed much loved too. She has exercised the range of her talents to make a career that echoes the same range. Her progression from a singer to a actor and now to making movies has allowed her become more vocal about what she does and why she does it. Madonna’s career is one of the greatest ones and can be likened with those of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Priestly. Having tasted success and beyond through singing and performing and then later acting in movies, Madonna’s latest attempt is W.E., a movie that focused on the most controversial romance of the last century. W.E. tells the story of Wallis Simpson and Prince Edward of England and retells the passion and how it started in the first place and also how it ended. The movie takes a different and possibly more controversial view of the romance between a royal and a commoner and is bound to raise a few eyebrows in England.

American Idol saw a night of dwindling numbers. It recorded only a 5.9 among adults aged between 18-49 on Wednesday night. The numbers did pick up during the second half of the show. But it could not even match its previous week’s ratings which were 6.5 among the same age group. The difference is almost 9%. The same week last year, the ratings were as high as 9.0.

When American Idol saw a drop in its points, Mobbed came to the rescue. Fox maintained a 4.4 for the night. Mobbed airing after Idol had a good chance to boost up its viewership. It almost doubled its ratings since the first time it was broadcasted.
