Nutrients are more abundant in a non-smoker, reducing the amount of wrinkles and improving the healthy glow that should be visible. Not to mention fresher breath, there are other benefits quitting smoking can have on the mouth, including whiter teeth and a reduced chance of suffering from infections such as tooth decay or gum disease.

It can also lead to a better social life. Without having to step outside to calm your craving, you won’t miss parts of conversations and more people are likely to stand near you, as they won’t be afraid of second hand smoke. It will also be healthier for your family, especially young children as they won’t be inhaling excess smoke, which could result in asthma or other chest infections. It will also sensitise them to the act of smoking, meaning they will be less likely to try it when they are older.
