Amazing discovery of Ten New Species on this planet strengthens its ecological diversity

An amazing discovery of ten new species that would revolutionize the arena of recognizing the ecological diversity of this planet was announced by the members of the International Institute for Species Exploration at the Arizona State University along with an international committee of scientists around the world. The Members of the international committee handpicked about ten species from more than 200 nominations that they received from explorers who made these discoveries for the calendar year-2011.

These species are very strange and are unusual as they have some peculiar characteristics that are not seen in other living species. This list is issued for fifth year in a row and which coincided with the birthday (May-23) of the Swedish Botanist – Carolus Linnaeus. This Swedish botanist can be termed as the father of creating the modern system for naming and classifying of the living species.
