Experiencing the financial pinch

The Dalai Lama, a man that is greatly respected in the world’s eyes, said this about these struggling economic times: “I find that because of modern technological evolution and our global economy, and as a result of the great increase in population, our world has greatlychanged: it has become much smaller. However, our perceptions have not evolved at the same pace; we continue to cling to old national demarcations and the old feelings of ‘us’ and ‘them’.”

The line of people wallowing in unemployment and experiencing the financial pinch has for a long time been an unfortunate situation that many people wind up having to deal with.  The dismal state of the economy in the US and Europe are contributing to our leaders’ stress because they just can’t get it right and find the proper solution to the free market’s financial woes.  What is going on in is a travesty for the common man, a middle class person who wants to be financially successful and be free of corporate regulation, taxation without representation, elitism and foreclosures.  We all know the rich are doing fine and that they are always going to be hiding beneath the fact that they could care less what poor people go through on a day to day basis (gas, groceries etc.).  When are the tables going to be turned and when are we as a people going to shed light that their does need to be a distribution of wealth to the masses of suffering individuals who are trying to make a dollar out of fifteen cents so to speak.
